What You Will Do

As an Associate with Ministry Health Care, you will have the opportunity to plan, direct, administer, monitorand evaluate the delivery of imaging services to patients.

You will:

  • Recruits, interviews, hires and evaluates staff within the radiology department.

  • Prepares departmental budget and ensures that department operates within allocated funds.

  • Determines and justifies needs for equipment purchases, adheres to policies regarding equipment purchases, monitors equipment installations and oversees proper working order of equipment.

  • Develops, implements, and monitors plan for patient care services in the Imaging department.

  • Systematically evaluates the strategic financial plan; identifying opportunities, market changes and barriers.

  • Develops, implements and evaluates program services and initiatives.

  • Leads the development, implementation and evaluation of high quality patient care through quality initiatives.

  • Maintains complete, current, and relevant policies and procedures in accordance with organization and departmental objectives, scope of service, and regulatory agency requirements

  • Working with functional managers, coordinates action plans to align resources to support the new model.

What You Will Need

Licenses/Certifications/Registration:

  • Required Credential(s):

  • One or more of the following:

  • CertifiedNuclear Medical Techcredentialed from theNuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.Certification from the American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP) in Nuclear Medicine will be allowed in lieu of certification from the NMTCB.

  • RegisteredRadiologic Technologistspecializing inRadiographycredentialed from theAmerican Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

  • RegisteredMedical Sonographercredentialed from theAmerican Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Level Degree

  • Bachelor's Degree in Radiology or related field and registration or certification required according to degree held required

Work Experience:

  • Minimum five (5) years of management experience required. Clinical experience directly applicable to the area managed required.
