Responsibilities

Organize and coordinate quality, risk and patient safety program activities and workflow.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate quality, risk and/or patient safety aspects of The Joint Commission continuous readiness program.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team on problem identification and resolution, cost containment issues, implementation of new services and systems/ performance measures.

  • Support activities related to quality and risk reduction initiatives and compliance with patient safety standards.

  • Analyze and report on data collected from a variety of sources. Develop detailed quality financial reports for specific groups and service lines.

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Quality Professional preferred.

  • Risk Management preferred.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

  • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Additional Preferences

The Acute Clinical Policy Administrator will additionally be responsible for:

  • Overseeing, developing and managing, implementing, of clinical policies within Ascension Indiana

  • Facilitating communication between top Market level executives and management including CMO's & CNO's, middle level management, and employees, ensuring everyone is on the same page regarding policies

  • Creating policies in PolicyStat, GoogleSuite, MS and presenting to all levels of market executive leadership, CMO's, CNO's, mid level management, and employees

Prefer Bachelors degree or higher.

Prefer 5 years of Acute Clinical Inpatient experience.

Requires experience in policy alignment to standardize practice.
