What You Will Do
As a Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist associate with St. Vincent Health-IN, you will have the opportunity to perform electroneurodiagnostic testing.
Performs set up and preparation of equipment/supplies for ordered test.
Reviews patient's history, obtains any necessary information or documentation and provides education to patient about procedures. Monitors and documents patient's condition at all times and reports any adverse reactions.
Operates and maintains a variety of equipment to obtain diagnostic data, which may include EEG (Electroencephalography), EP (Evoked Potential), and PSG (Polysomnography) equipment. Recognizes and corrects for artifacts.
Scores/graphs, documents and reports results of diagnostic procedures.
What You Will Need
CertifiedBLS Providerobtained within1 Month (30 days)of hire date or job transfer date.
RegisteredElectroencephalographic Technicianobtained within24 Months (2 years)of hire date or job transfer date.
BLS Providercredentialed from theAmerican Heart Association (AHA).
Electroencephalographic Techniciancredentialed from theABRET Neurodiagnostic Credentialing & Accreditation (ABRET).
Technologistspecializing inNerve Conduction Studycredentialed from theAmerican Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).
Technologistspecializing inNerve Conduction Studycredentialed from theABRET Neurodiagnostic Credentialing & Accreditation (ABRET).
Technologistspecializing inNeurophysiologic Intraop Monitcredentialed from theABRET Neurodiagnostic Credentialing & Accreditation (ABRET).
Technologistspecializing inEvoked Potentialcredentialed from theABRET Neurodiagnostic Credentialing & Accreditation (ABRET).
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent required.
Master's degree in a related field, or combination of Bachelor's degree and related experience preferred
3 Years Preferred Technical Experience.
R. EEG eligible or already have the EEG credential.
